The Seville Aquarium Obtains the Andalucía Segura Distinction

The Seville Aquarium has obtained the “Andalucía Segura” distinction awarded by the Junta de Andalucía to certify compliance with health and safety measures. It thus becomes the first center in the sector to achieve it.

This distinction identifies those companies that comply with COVID-19 safety measures, in order to give consumers the guarantee and peace of mind of compliance with World Health Organization standards. “We have implemented extensive health and safety measures to protect employees and customers. We want visitors to know that our facilities comply with all health regulations and that they will have a safe experience inside our aquarium” assures Juan Antonio Romero, director of the aquarium.

To obtain this distinction, the aquarium had to comply with all the measures included in the Junta de Andalucía’s recommendations guide and request it through a responsible declaration. This demonstrates that it is prepared to welcome all visitors as in previous years, but now in an even safer way.

“The tourism sector needs the support of the administration now more than ever. We are at a time when the reactivation of tourism must be carried out with everyone’s collaboration. From the aquarium, we recognize the good work of the Ministry of Tourism of the Junta de Andalucía with this distinction, as it is a pioneering initiative that is downloaded easily and for free” states Rocío Alcázar, manager of the aquarium.
