The Center Will Offer the Public a Notable Renovation in its Contents and Two Ecosystems, a Large Temporary Exhibition, and an Unusual Spectacle on the River
The Seville Aquarium presents its new facilities on May 24, which include an important temporary exhibition and two completely renovated ecosystems.
The opening of the new aquarium will begin with an official inauguration for institutions that will be able to see the new exhibition areas. Starting the next day, May 25, all visitors will be able to discover the surprises that the center has prepared for this new stage, including an unusual spectacle on the Guadalquivir River, in front of the main facade, on the evenings of May 25, 26, and 27, which aims to bring Sevillians closer to the Muelle de las Delicias and experience the river.
Since the Global Omnium group acquired the aquarium last November, the works have been carried out alongside the facilities open to the public, transferring animals from tanks under renovation to other tanks along the route. More than 50 professionals from different companies have participated continuously in the new aquarium project to offer visitors a new immersive experience in the depths of the sea.
The purchase of the Aquarium by Global Omnium has made it possible to recover a strategic element of the city, not only at a tourist level but also as a scientific and business center. It has also enabled the launch of a modern project committed to innovation and high technology, which will enhance biodiversity conservation in its facilities, as well as environmental protection, as the company committed to in its presentation last November.
