Project “Underwater Life”
Goal 14: Conserve and Sustainably Use the Oceans, Seas and Marine Resources
“Underwater Life” is the Seville Aquarium's project for primary school students that will teach them that marine biodiversity is vital for the health of people and our planet.
Activity development
The project is carried out in the aquarium and in your school:
- The aquarium phase consists of a thematic guided tour “The Sea in Danger” and a workshop “Underwater Life”.
- In the school phase you will have to develop your own project that helps to conserve the sea. We will provide you with information and guidelines to carry it out.
At the end of the course, a report or project summary will be submitted and the aquarium will award the school the “Ocean-Friendly Center” badge.
The Seville Aquarium joins the UN sustainable development goals with this project dedicated to goal number 14 “underwater life” with the aim of improving ocean conservation as well as making responsible use of its resources.
